I am back with another Kama Ayurveda product review. This time its Kama Ayurveda Mridul Soap Free Face Cleanser. I had this quite a while ago and forgot to review. But none the less I am here to review it.
About the Kama Ayurveda Mridul Soap Free Face Cleanser
According to the website “A traditional blend of herbs, cereals and pulses ground to a cleansing powder that mildly exfoliates facial skin. A non-drying formula and a great alternative to harsh foaming cleansers, it is suited even to sensitive and damaged skin types. Clarifying Green Gram, Neem, Sandalwood and Fennel gently cleanse dirt, dead skin and impurities without stripping skin of its natural oils. Brightening Sandalwood, Turmeric and Rose even out skin tone while Ground Almonds smoothen the texture of skin.”

My Take On The Kama Ayurveda Mridul Soap Free Face Cleanser:-
It comes in a steel jar. The actual product is packed in a clear plastic bag. You can dispense the product in the jar. It’s not travel-friendly at all. You also get a wooden spoon with it.
There is no significant smell. It just smells herbal
Colour And Consistency:-
It’s a green powder. The texture is not smooth. I was happy to know that I can use it as a cleanser and a scrub. Since it has a coarse texture, it wouldn’t be wise to use it under eye area
Price And Shelf Life:-
When I bought this it was ₹ 425 for 40 gm but now its 525 for the same amount of product. The shelf life is 2 years

My Experience with the Kama Ayurveda Mridul Soap Free Face Cleanser:-
I use it as described by the brand. Due to the grainy texture, it’s a bit difficult to adhere to the skin. I keep it on for a minute and then massage gently. After using this cleanser my skin feels very soft. It does clean my skin as a face wash but there is no dryness at all. I don’t wear makeup at all so I don’t know how it would work on that. It has ingredients to combat acne, which is a plus.
Overall it’s a good face cleanser but it is very time-consuming and messy. Just for that reason, I don’t think I will buy this again. I like the Kama Ayurveda Rose Jasmine Face Cleanser Review much more than this
- A good cleanser
- Makes skin soft and smooth
- Can be doubled as face scrub
- 100% Natural
- No irritation
- Cant be used around eyes
- A little messy and time consuming
