After a not so good experience with Lakme Clear pores Scrub I decided to go for a natural substitute and found this scrub, By this time I have already used Lotus Herbals NUTRAMOIST & NUTRANITE Creams so I believed that this scrub won’t fail me and It Didn’t. So here is the review of Lotus Herbals APRISCRUB Fresh Apricot Scrub.
About the Lotus Herbals APRISCRUB Fresh Apricot Scrub: –
According to product “As our nails and skin grow, your skin also grows. Upper skin cells become dead and new cells are developed underneath. It is necessary to remove these dead cells to reveal the younger, radiant skin from underneath. Lotus Herbals Apriscrub is the perfect way to scrub away these dead cells gently without rupturing your skin. A young, radiant skin is what you get after using this scrub.”

My Take On The Lotus Herbals APRISCRUB Fresh Apricot Scrub:-
It comes in two types of packaging If you buy 300 gm product It will come in a tub packaging with a screw cap and In the case of 60gm 100gm 180gm, it comes in a tube packaging with a flip open cap, which I have.
The packaging is very good, sturdy and hygienic (in the case of tube packaging). The cap is quite tight It won’t open on its own. It’s really good that they sell it in 4 different amounts. The 60 and 100 gm would be great for travelling.
I know it’s a weird comparison but it reminds me the smells of Freshly Ironed clothes and I like that smell.
Colour And Consistency: –
It’s a pale yellow-brown colour with darker coloured granules. The base is cream based with very coarse granules in it. It doesn’t feel very harsh on the skin.
Price And Shelf Life:-
₹ 80 for 60 gm ₹ 135 for 100 gm ₹ 245 for 180 gm ₹ 350 for 300 gm With 3 years of shelf life.

My Experience with the Lotus Herbals APRISCRUB™ Fresh Apricot Scrub: –
As I said before I like the packaging and the smell of the product. Let’s talk about the effects It is a cream based scrub so it’s very easy to spread on the skin the granules are quite coarse which does a good job in exfoliating the dead skin.
I felt that after using it that it didn’t dry out my skin too much. It was a little dry but not excessively. My skin was feeling so soft, I mean you know the feeling where you can’t stop touching your face. It was feeling clean as if so much gunk was removed from my face. I skipped the face wash to test its ability to clean and it does clean every last bit of dirt and dead skin.
It also helped me with my blackhead. I have blackheads on my nose (not too much) and I could see a reduction. I am not saying that it will clean all your blackheads at once but a regular user would definitely be beneficial.
I have an oily and sensitive skin but there was no breakouts, irritation, rashes or allergic reactions due to this scrub, unlike the Lakme one.
The other thing I liked about it that it is available in 4 sizes. I if you want to try it you are not forced to buy a 200 gm tube and then regret it. You can go for a smaller size and see if it works for you. It’s a blessing for Beauty Bloggers 😉
The only thing I didn’t like is it contains SLS and Parabens. Other than that I love it
