My Take On The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Refreshingly Purifying Cleansing Hair Scrub:-
This product comes is a black jar with a screw cap. There is no protective lid or anything. It is quite bulky so you cant really take this on travel with you.
It smells very fresh. The fragrance is very mild and does get transferred on to your hair. They did use the artificial fragrance. I personally do like it.
COLOUR AND CONSISTENCY:-
Its white in colour with a green tint. The consistency is really weird. It’s very thick and slimy. There are big salt crystals which give this product a very grainy texture. But they dissolve as you are working it in your scalp. So it’s not very harsh on your scalp. Also, it creates a lot of foam.
Price And SHELF LIFE:-
It retails for ₹ 1,845 for 240 ml of product. The shelf life is for 3 years.

MY EXPERIENCE with The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Refreshingly Purifying Cleansing Hair Scrub:-
I use this product as mentioned on the website. But since I have a lot of hair it takes a little more than a teaspoon to clean my scalp and hair. Actually a lot more than a teaspoon. I take about 1 and a half tablespoon of the product in a bowl and mix it with water. Then I’ll go ahead and apply it to my scalp and massages it gently with the help of my fingertips. Make sure you are not using your nails to do that.
As you are working it in your scalp it starts foaming up. I also take it down in the length of my hair. Once my whole hair, root to tip, is covered in it I feel a cooling sensation. I think it’s because of the menthol.
After I rinse my hair with water I feel my scalp is super clean. It does give my hair a nice shine and a fresh feeling. However, since it is meant to deep clean your hair it will leave them a bit dry. That’s why I would suggest keeping your favourite conditioner by your side. You will need that. To be honest I don’t really mind that. Because they don’t make any false claim to make your hair soft or anything. They say it will clean your scalp and it does.
I could see a little reduction in dandruff. But I don’t think it can completely treat it.
Overall it depends on your scalp whether you need this hair scrub or not. I mean if your scalp is easy to clean and doesn’t usually get a lot of build up, you can skip it. But if you are someone like me who tends to get a lot of build up on their scalp you need this in your life.
