I love hair oils and mostly I have used pure and cold pressed oils for my hair. Some time ago I spotted this oil and decided to give this Dove Elixir Hair Fall Rescue Rose and Almond Oil a try and, SPOILERS, I was disappointed. Let me tell you why.

How To Use: –
This is the part where my disappointment started. 78% MINERAL OIL SERIOUSLY
My Take On The Dove Elixir Hair Fall Rescue Rose and Almond Oil: –
It comes in a white cardboard box and the actual product was in a glass bottle. It has a pump dispenser and it dispenses a very small amount of oil at once which is a good thing. But the bad thing is if you want more product you will have to wait for around 10 seconds after each pump and I have long hair and I need a lot of oil to cover them all. The packaging is bulky and fragile so not at all travel-friendly.
It has artificial fragrance and its good
Colour And Consistency: –
The colour is clear as water and it is very light and nongreasy. It will not make your hair oily or greasy.
Price And Shelf Life:-
₹ 185 for 90 ml with 24 months of shelf life

My Experience with the Dove Elixir Hair Fall Rescue Rose and Almond Oil: –
As I said before I was disappointed when looked at the ingredient list. It says it’s a rose and almond oil but if you look at the ingredient list there is 78% mineral oil and 16 % vegetable oil and rest 6% contains rose oil, almond oil, sesame oil etc. SERIOUSLY
When I first applied it my hair actually feels soft and manageable and the fragrance lingers on the hair for a long time But when I washed my hair I noticed more than usual hair fall. I thought it’s because of weather change. But the second and third-time experience were no different. So I stopped applying it on my scalp and applied it only to the length. And everything was back to normal.
It definitely made my soft and manageable but the change was not at all dramatic. I heard a lot of good things about it but I think not everything works for everyone.
Smells good Packaging is very good looking Made my hair soft and manageable to some extent. Budget friendly
Contains a huge amount of mineral oil Caused hair fall Pump does not work properly Not travel-friendly
Claims Result Nourish your hair Kind off Help dramatically reduce hair fall False
I am not always this rude but sometimes things just force me to be so.
The bottom Line: –
A thing full of mineral oil can never take the place of my pure and virgin oils.
