“Ayurvedic texts describe Neem as ‘Sarva Roga Nivarini’ (Universal Healer or curer of all Ailments). Kama Ayurveda’s Neem Oil is 100% pure and cold-pressed from organic Neem Seeds from the farms of Tamil Nadu. Rich in antioxidants, Neem Oil has been used for centuries for treating both skin and hair disorders. Its antibacterial action treats skin issues such as acne, rashes, hyper-pigmentation, burns and abrasions while protecting and moisturizing with its high Essential Fatty Acid and Vitamin content.
It clarifies the hair and scalp to relieve dandruff, environmental damage and stimulates hair follicles for improved hair volume and growth. My Take On The Kama Ayurveda Organic Neem Oil:-
It comes in a black plastic bottle with a golden coloured screw cap. There is also has a protective lid to prevent the spill. It is only available in 200 ml packaging. I wish they made a smaller variant. But that’s just my opinion. The packaging is quite good a spill free.
It simply smells bad. But I had neem oil before from another brand and that smelled even worse, so this one is bearable for me.
Colour And Consistency:-
Its greenish-brown in colour. It is a thick oil but not as thick as castor oil. It’s not difficult to put on but you can always mix it with coconut oil or sesame oil.
Price And Shelf Life:-
₹ 675 for 200 ml with 2 years of shelf life.

My Experience With The Kama Ayurveda Organic Neem Oil:-
I used this for my hair body and face.
I apply the oil on my scalp and lengths and leave it over night. After washing my hair in the morning with my all time favourite Patanjali Kesh Kanti Natural Hair Cleanser. I used it plain and also try to mix it with coconut oil and Kama Ayurveda sesame oil. And it worked equally great every time. Mixing it with other oils can also solve the smell problem.
I started with good hair as Aloveda’s avocado oil was doing a good job for me. It added extra shine and softness in my hair. I can see a decrease in itching and dandruff. My scalp is definitely healthier. It provides that extra moisture to your hair. I really love how my hair feels. If you are suffering from itchy scalp, dandruff or damaged hair I would highly recommend this oil for you
I also used it as the body oil. I massaged in on my body for about 20 minutes and took a shower. If the smell is bothering you, you can always mix it with other oils. I will dilute the smell to quite an extent. Like the hair, it provides moisture and nourishment to the skin. My skin felt soft and supple. It would be great to use in winters. I also use it on my feet every night and it is doing really well for them as well.
Just about the time, I started using I had some acnes at the nape of my neck weird! and I was happy cause I got to try this oil on acne. (Yes when you do product reviews you get happy to see acne #LifeOfABlogger) So I applied it on the acnes every night. It did help in healing them faster but more impotently not even a single acne got infected or painful. The eruptions subsided in just two uses leaving no scars. So if you are suffering from dry and flaky skin or body acne you should give this oil a try.
After seeing its results on acne I decided to try this on my face Fun fact I have oily skin. I sprayed some pure rose water on my face and took just one drop of the oil, and massaged it nicely. Next morning I washed my face. It did work great for my face as well. I can see a healthy glow on my face. Right now, I don’t have any acne on my face so can’t tell about that.
It didn’t break me out. But I would say if you have oily skin decide to use it on your face please start with a very little amount and apply it on damp face. You can always add more if needed. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative for Kama Kumkumadi serum. This can be it. I am not saying it will completely replace the Kumkumadi But it will work just fine.
Other than that you can use it for burns and abrasions
- All natural
- Relieves dandruff
- Treats Acne
- Treats rashes
- Can be used for burns and abrasions
- It just smells bad
|Stimulates Hair Growth||Can’t tell right now|
|Treats Ace, rashes, hyperpigmentation, burns and abrasions||True|
The Bottom Line:-
It is truly a “Head to Toe Treatment”
